Tuesday, March 15at 5:30 PM – 8 PM Work day at TK!
Have you been dying to get outside and play in the dirt? Lawless is a mess after a windy winter! We need help! We’ve decided to try out one of these weeknight workdays after we’ve had a number of people ask.
Tools, water, and snacks will be provided. Just bring your body and a Corona saw if you have one; we’ll need lots of them. The trail will not be open to ride this night as clearing it will take more than one evening. We will be scheduling another weeknight about a week after this one if the turnout is good.
The weather looks fantastic so head on out and help out!
We will be trimming the trail at TK before the race. We will have the all the walk behind trimmers and the sickle bar trimmers. Come help get the trail ready for the summer and the race. If you help trim we will give you a discount coupon for the race.
Unfortunately mother nature has other plans for today. Due to very wet trail conditions and possibly more rain ahead we are canceling today’s planned work day at Rum Village. We will try to reschedule at a later date. Watch for updates here and on Facebook.
The IMBA Subaru Trail Crew will be presenting the Trail Building School for NIMBA on Saturday September 7th at Bonneyville Mill Park at 9:00AM. This course is a must attend for all mountain bikers. You will learn about the latest trends in trail design, construction and maintenance. Have you ever wondered why one trail seems to be more fun to ride than another trail? Ever debated whether a turn should be moved or redesigned? Learn from the masters how it should be built.
The last time the Subaru Trail Crew was in Northern Indiana was over 5 years ago. Don’t miss out on this free opportunity to learn from the masters.
We will have lunch for all attendees and the tools required for the field training.
Remember that this is a Free seminar. We ask that you register for the seminar so that we can figure out how much food to bring. Register at this link
We will also be holding a group ride on Sunday morning with the Trail Crew at TK Lawless at 10:00AM. Come join us for a fun ride.
This Saturday, 5-25-13, is the last workday of the spring for Bonneyville Mill. Help us finish off the South Farm loops this spring. The redline is almost there. We are working out of the Briar Patch parking lot, from 9AM to 1 PM. Looks like cool weather for this Saturday, I suggest long pants and long sleeve shirts. Lets end the spring with a big finish. If you live in one of the eastern counties and have not been to Bonneyville come out on Saturday. If you have helped build Bonneyville this spring, come out one last time and see how far we can take it.. Bring your bikes for some test riding afterwards. We need to start riding in the grass sections that we have scalped…
Only two more work days planned this spring for Bonneyville. Help us finish off the South Farm loops this spring. The redline is almost there. This Sunday we are working out of the Briar Patch parking lot, from 9AM to 1 PM. Even though it is getting warmer, I suggest long pants and long sleeve shirts. bring your bikes for some test riding afterwards. We need to start riding in the grass sections that we have scalped…
It’s snowing today, but chances are that on Sunday March 10th from 10am-1pm we will be able to clean up the Mountain Bike Trail at Bendix Woods. We will be clearing debris and downed trees from the trail so we can start riding it again. If we have time, we will also do some smoothing of the new section of the trail.
We will park the NIMBA trailer at the Deneve Shelter area. We have gloves, water, cliff bars and all the tools we need. We will also fire up the grill for some hot dogs.
