Bonneyville Mill Almost complete.

We have had 3 great workdays this spring and we will have at least one more on Sunday May 18th, meet us at the Briar patch Shelter at 9AM.   We are down to the final items to finish the trail.  Grand Opening celebration is scheduled for June 22nd.

First Tuesday Night Potato Creek Group Ride Scheduled for 4/22/14

We are kicking off the popular Tuesday Night Potato Creek group ride this Tuesday 4/22/14, at 6:30PM EDT at the Peppermint Hill Shelter Parking lot .  Once again Debbie Kulwicki will be leading the ride.  This is an ideal ride for beginners, both women and men.  It is a no drop ride, so you don’t have to worry about being left behind.  The ride typically breaks into 3 groups, faster riders, a no drop womens group and a no drop mens group.  Come join us and enjoy the great trail at Potato Creek.  We see a lot of couples come out for the ride since it allows you to avoid the classic couples conflict over pace and riding style.

TK Lawless Logging Debris Cleanup 4-6-14

There was limited logging at TK this winter and now there is a lot of debris and treetops on the trail.  We need your help this Sunday April 6th from 9AM to 1PM to start clearing the trail.

The parks department is making an exception due to the amount of trees down on the trail and will let us use our own chainsaws.  For each chainsaw we will need several more people to help clear the path.  We will have gloves and hand tools for the workday, we need you to get the trails open.  Scott from TK says he will have donuts for us and NIMBA will have cliff bars, water and lunch for everyone.

If you would like to bring a chainsaw, contact me directly about the rules that the park has for there use.  nimba.bike@gmail.com
