TK Lawless Time Trial, This Sunday!

Race number two of the NIMBA series gets underway this Sunday at TK Lawless in Vandalia, MI. After a long weekend everyone should be rested and ready to race against the clock and their friends.  The weather looks a little sketchy this week clearing up just in time for the race on Sunday. TK is our only Michigan venue and tends to bring in more people, more racers and more fun for everyone.

UPDATE – Looking good for a race today. Heading up to TK in a few minutes. Unless you hear otherwise we are good to go for today.

Last chance to contribute to the Bonneyville Mill trail

This Saturday, 5-25-13, is the last workday of the spring for Bonneyville Mill.  Help us finish off the South Farm loops this spring. The redline is almost there. We are working out of the Briar Patch parking lot, from 9AM to 1 PM. Looks like cool weather for this Saturday, I suggest long pants and long sleeve shirts. Lets end the spring with a big finish. If you live in one of the eastern counties and have not been to Bonneyville come out on Saturday. If you have helped build Bonneyville this spring, come out one last time and see how far we can take it.. Bring your bikes for some test riding afterwards. We need to start riding in the grass sections that we have scalped…

Only two more work days at Bonneyville Mill until this fall

Only two more work days planned this spring for Bonneyville. Help us finish off the South Farm loops this spring. The redline is almost there. This Sunday we are working out of the Briar Patch parking lot, from 9AM to 1 PM. Weekly Club Time Trials start now!

Looks like tonight will be a great night for our first Wednesday night time trial.  The first two weeks we will be at Bendix Woods in preparation for our first official time trial on May 12th. This is a great opportunity to recon the course for that extra edge on race day.Top speed is not your goal? Come out and have a nice ride on our newest trail just for the fun of it. For NIMBA members the cost for the ride and camaraderie is always free.

Wednesday Weather

Registration begins at 6:15PM  and the first rider starts at 6:45PM followed by others at one minute intervals.

We spend two weeks at each trail, the time trial is always a single lap, the most improved time between the 2 weeks gets a Hacienda gift card.

Do women have a chance to win the most improved? Ask Marcel.

Why is it called a “Club Time Trial”? The time trial is open for current NIMBA members only, we need to do this because of insurance. Not a 2013 NIMBA member? Don’t worry, you can join NIMBA online or at any of the time trials.

How much does it cost each week? It’s free for members!

UPDATE
What a great way to kickoff National Bike Month… we had 17 people ride in the first Wednesday night club time trial for 2013 at Bendix Woods last night. Great weather and a lot of fun. Whomever improves there time the most next week wins a $10 hacienda gift card Results BW_Weekly TT 5-1-13

Help us build the newest trail in Michiana at Bonneyville Mill County Park in Bristol Indiana. What’s it all about?  Check out the news story from Channel 22

We have workdays scheduled through the end of May.  Bonneyville Mill  is less than 10 minutes from the Bristol Toll Road exit so it is easy to get to from all of Michiana and there are workdays scheduled on both Saturdays and Sundays, so find a day and come out and help us. The more volunteers the sooner the trail gets completed.
