For 2014, the fee structure for the NIMBA Race Series has changed.
Note that fees for NIMBA/IMBA Members have NOT changed.
The race fees for 2014 are as follows
NIMBA/IMBA Member $25 pre-registration, $30 day-of registration
Non-Members $35 pre-registration, $40 day-of registration
All classes for 2014 remain unchanged with two exceptions:
Sport ages 20-29 will be combined with Sport ages 30-39 creating the new class Sport 20-39.
Beginner ages 20-29 will be combined with Beginner ages 30-39 creating the new class Beginner 20-39.
For 2014, NIMBA will also introduce a “Members Only” volunteering pays back race entry program. We will offer a 50% off single race voucher for volunteers completing 4 hours of work. If you’re part of a trail day or you help with a couple of races, you’ll receive a voucher good for 50% off a single race entry, reducing a member’s fee to only $15!
Race Transfer – NIMBA members will be eligible for one (1) race entry transfer per season.
Race Cancellation – In the unlikely event that a race is cancelled, entry fees are non-refundable. If a NIMBA member has not used their transfer for the season, they may use their transfer to transfer their entry from the cancelled race to another race, or towards a Tour de NIMBA entry. A cancellation of the last race of the season is non-refundable should the entrant choose not to enter Tour de NIMBA.
NIMBA has a host of special events planned for 2014 outside of the race series, including the official opening of our newest trail at Bonneyville Mill. Stay tuned to Facebook and nimba-bike.org for the latest information.
